Stigma Free UC Presents: Anxiety - From Boredom to Burnout

The newest and final installment of Stigma Free UC webinar series takes place on Tuesday, February 19, 11am-12pm.  Dr. Robert Bota, Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UC Irvine, will host a webinar presentation centered around the topic of anxiety.

For many, stress and anxiety are part of life - standard responses to life's many challenges.  When we start to feel overwhelmed, we may wonder:  When does stress begin to affect mental health?  When is anxiety a symptom of a psychiatric illness that warrants professional help?  And finally, how can we improve our brain health?

These questions will be addressed in the webinar by Dr. Bota, who focuses his professional work around the interplay between psychiatric illnesses and medical conditions, and explores innovative ways to address the spectrum of one's psychosomatic needs.

All UC faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.  Registration is at UCOP.zoom.us/j/5109879443.  To listen by phone, dial 669-900-6833; meeting ID:  510 987 9443.
